Responsibilities
The individual will administrator and assist with the migrations of Oracle database systems solutions for HQ USMEPCOM. In addition, the candidate will be required to serve as a subject matter expertise and administrator expert in the assigned area of responsibility. The individual must be familiar with Oracle database 11g technologies and newer database concepts. The candidate must have familiarization with administration, maintenance and securing various Oracle database applications including but not limited to 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c.
Basic Qualification:
- 10 years of Oracle Database Administration experience including migrations from 9i, 10g and 11g to 12c
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (Security+) certification and associated CE certificate
- Certified as Oracle 11g Certified Master Database Administrator
- Active Secret or Higher Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior DoD or Army working environment experience a plus
- Experience/certification in Oracle Database administration including migration to newer platforms
- 10+ years of experience in administration and maintenance support of Oracle database servers
- Technical degree relevant to position description
- Knowledge of IA controls
- Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with Army IT Systems
